Target Audiences

Target Audience is ESSENTIAL in the film industry. Some say its one of the most important things, this is because everything in your film including the title sequence is based on the target audience and if it would appeal to them. Literally, EVERYTHING got to do with the film RELYS on the TARGET AUDIENCE. In film making they're the most important people.

Research: 
So in order to find out our target audience for our title sequence i had to do so research.
SHOCKING RESULTS, while researching other thriller films similar to our ideas and looking at their target audience we found out that majority of their target audience was male adults.



STALKER 

Target Audience: Males 
Age: 30-40 Adults 

SEVEN

Target Audience: Males 
Age:40-50 










GONE GIRL

Target Audience: Females 
Age: 30 

On Average the  target audience for Thriller films was:

In conclusion majority of the target audiences was male but Gone Girl had a females as their target audience. I believe this is because Gone Girl has a more emotional aspect to the film whereas the others are a more typical film which i believe our film would have. They all had in common that the ages of the target audiences was adults. Our title sequence will be aimed at both males and female adults from working classes.
