Ident

I designed this Ident on After Effects which i found quite difficult at first as i had to do it alone. I chose this design specifically as it had a more feminine touch to it and especially since our genre targets majority to men i thought the Ident will attract the females and thus have a mixture of both genders. I choose the bursting effect so that from the start our film will be exciting to the audience building up their adrenaline. Also, the use of all the colours mixed together makes the Ident very eye catching and will catch the audiences attention immediately.

When making the Ident a lot of mistakes where made which i would go back and change if i could. Evidently, on the video clip above you can see that my logo is missing. This is because i never saved the logo with the ident together onto the safe space but just on my documents which i later lost. This had a huge effect on my Ident. This is a mistake we need to make sure not to make when filming later on as it could ruin out tile sequence.

This is the logo i made to fit into the middle of the bursting effect. As you could see its very feminine so that we could attract the females specifically. I kept the font simple and in a uni sex colour blue. The simplicity of the ident will intrigue the audience more to find out what the film is really about.
